Must be able to work any shifts assigned, including evenings, overnights and weekends and holidays The Resort Front Office Supervisor supports the Rooms Division Manager and General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences by overseeing front desk and reservations operations. This role blends hands on operational leadership with financial accountability and proactive problem solving to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to the overall success of the resort.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of front desk experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to work any shifts assigned, including evenings and overnights.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises Front Desk team members, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Trains team members, plans, assigns, and directs work, appraises performance, and manages rewards and disciplinary actions.
  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
  • Keep marketplace shelves fully stocked and ready for customers.
  • Transmits and receives telephone messages.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests.
  • Keeps records of room availability and guest's accounts.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Prepares daily reports (credit limit, cash).
  • Reviews daily arrivals and departures.
  • Coordinates with housekeeping when VIP Guests arrive.
  • Sets up Front Desk schedule and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership team.
