This full-time, year-round Resort Facilities Technician position is located at The Beach Club in St. Augustine, FL, under the Cunningham Property Management Brand. The role involves supporting the facilities technician team with comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of facilities maintenance, aiming to enhance the property's work environment. Key responsibilities include responding to and resolving guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on tools and various equipment (kitchen, mechanical room), and maintaining maintenance inventory. The technician is expected to have or acquire basic knowledge in areas such as air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance. Duties also encompass surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and general clean-up. The position requires testing, troubleshooting, and performing basic repairs on a wide range of equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical components, internet devices, and TVs. Additionally, the technician will handle interior and exterior landscaping repairs, utilize basic computer skills for system adjustments, and adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the Lockout/Tagout system. The role emphasizes strong customer service, professional communication, teamwork, and compliance with company policies and quality standards.
