Utilize your problem-solving skills in this role as you work to manufacture Vespel® parts in accordance with all safety, quality, and production best practices in order to meet all customer requirements and continuously grow the Vespel® business. The incumbents will monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including field equipment, insuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. They will maintain safety standards always and initiate and follow emergency procedures when necessary. They will also rotate through various roles within the shop, including, in some cases, a control room rotation. The goal of this position is to efficiently and effectively operate and maintain the plant equipment and systems in a way that safely produces quality products, minimizes cost, and protects the environment. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Working with a team. Start-up, operation and shutdown of equipment. Perform basic maintenance. Perform laboratory analysis to ensure product quality standards are met. Operate computers and electronic controllers to monitor process variables. Perform area patrols to visually inspect, monitor equipment and process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and environmental regulations. Use computer-based systems such as SAP, IP21, Email and MS Office Suite Packaging of finished product Operate fork trucks and motorized equipment. This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization due to required Export Compliance. Job Qualification The following are required: High School Diploma/GED Previous experience in Resin processing Basic math and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc. Demonstrated team player and results driven Able to contribute to continuous improvement through observation, attention to detail and follow through Ability to write and interpret written instructions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible to changing priorities and demonstrates self-management Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hardhat, respirator, protective eyewear, face shields, etc. Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting Willing and able to stand for extended periods of time, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, reach overhead, and climb stairs Strong mechanical skills (knowledge of standard hand tools) The following is preferred: At least 3 years of manufacturing or related experience is preferred Note: For consideration for the position, one must participate and be successful in the interview process and pass a drug screen, background check, physical screen, etc. Successful candidate will need to be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. Requirements

  • Previous experience in Resin processing
  • Basic math and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
  • Demonstrated team player and results driven
