About The Position

The Bridge Family Center is seeking a Therapist (Clinical Coordinator) for its Hartford STTAR Home, serving adolescent males in DCF Care. This person will be responsible for individual, group and family treatment as well as monitoring all aspects of case management and clinical services related to the STTAR. Provides clinical supervision for program staff and overall program supervision in the absence of the Program Director (with close support from the Director of Residential Services). Requirements

Master's Degree and licensure as an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A required.
Clinical licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).
Must have experience working with youths and their families, preferably in a residential setting, as well as good communication and record-keeping skills, supervisory experience, and must be culturally sensitive.
Must also have a valid driver’s license.
Demonstrate excellent individual, family and group counseling skills.
Ability to interface with large social service agencies.
Excellent time management and supervisory skills.

Clinical licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).

Responsibilities

Works closely with staff team, residents and their families to facilitate treatment planning.
Monitors all aspects of case management including, treatment goals, assessments, medical care, transportation, and family involvement.
Works closely with STTAR Program Director, Residential Management, and DCF representatives with regard to admissions.
Provides clinical support for residents and their families.
Responsible for individual, group and family treatment.
Provides clinical supervision for residential staff.
Coordinates in service training programs.
Aides Program Director in data compilation.
Recruits, trains and supervises student interns.
Attends all STTAR staff and treatment plan meetings.
Participates in 24 hour on call rotation coverage.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Monitors and evaluates STTAR treatment model.
Coordinates all in house groups.
Documents all pertinent data.
Writes discharge summaries.
