About The Position
Location: Asheville, NC Schedule: The ACP and CRAWeekend Recovery Coach position will be part-time with weekend shifts. Staff will have the option of signing up for additional PRN (as-needed) shifts, with a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience working with individuals whose lives are impeded by mental illness
- 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to be on organization’s auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Provides relationship-oriented coaching and support to residents and attaining their goals
- Assures the health and safety of resident and responds immediately to concerns and completes check-ins
- Participates and encourages participation of residents in recreational, social, and cultural activities
- Facilitates spontaneous social experiences for residents who are not participating in scheduled activities
- Supports residents with room cleaning and helps out in general with the cleaning of common areas of the building
- Transports residents to scheduled appointments as needed
- Is a first responder for on-call services in the evening hours
- Responsible for documentation for assigned residents
