About The Position

At Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes, we provide high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We are seeking a dedicated House Manager to join our team and help ensure that our homes continue to meet the highest standards of care and service. The Residential Supervisor provides direct supervision and oversight to House Managers across assigned homes within LVCCH. This role ensures that each home operates in accordance with Pennsylvania’s ODP and Chapter 6400 regulations, maintains consistency in care delivery, ensures documentation accuracy, and enforces compliance with company policies. The Supervisor serves as a bridge between leadership and frontline operations, ensuring safety, accountability, and person-centered support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in special education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field with at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of direct experience; or
  • Associate’s degree/60 college credits with four (4) years of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
  • Strong working knowledge of ODP, 55 Pa. Code Chapter 6400, waiver compliance, and licensing standards.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage multiple residential sites and staff teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of ISP processes, documentation requirements, and audit readiness.
  • Proficiency in Evolv, QuickMar, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing complex schedules and regulatory tasks.
  • Compassionate, person-centered approach with strong cultural competence.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and adapt to evolving needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support House Managers to ensure effective home operations and resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly supervisory check-ins with House Managers.
  • Provide problem-solving support and corrective action guidance.
  • Serve as an on-call resource for emergencies or staffing concerns.
  • Collaborate with Administrator and Program Coordinator on training and operational priorities.
  • Ensure all homes remain compliant with ODP and Chapter 6400 requirements.
  • Conduct weekly home audits and issue corrective actions.
  • Review and approve incident reports and ensure timely EIM entry.
  • Verify completion of fire drills, emergency drills, and safety checks.
  • Support QA during internal audits and licensing reviews.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate House Managers.
  • Monitor staff ratios and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Work with HR on disciplinary actions and recognition initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with new hire and annual training.
  • Facilitate leadership development for House Managers.
  • Ensure proper implementation of ISPs by House Managers and DSP teams.
  • Oversee medical appointments, therapies, and community engagement.
  • Participate in elevated ISP meetings.
  • Advocate for person-centered care and improved quality of life.
  • Review and approve monthly documentation submitted by House Managers.
  • Monitor petty cash usage, home budgets, and expenditures.
  • Ensure maintenance and supply needs are addressed promptly.
  • Track operational metrics such as training, incident trends, and audit outcomes
  • Support management with policy implementation.
