About The Position

Residential supervisors are tasked with managing a residential house that provides 24/7 support to residents with severe and persistent mental illness in a community-based setting. Supervisors provide direct support to clients and staff and manage the day-to-day operations that will help maintain a successful program. This position requires on-call duties. Supervisors are responsible for managing the house budget, supervising of staff, and operating as the point person to ensure effective communication, consultation, and critical decision-making. Residential supervisors are expected to take part in consultation, quality improvement activities, and program development.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Supervisory experience in a therapeutic setting is required.
  • Candidate must possess a valid driver's license, an automobile with liability insurance, and a clean background and driving record check.
  • Commitment to teamwork

  • Time management and organizational skills are a must.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, staff, clients, and community partners.
