About The Position

Are you the Residential Supervisor we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students! Cohannet Academy is an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Cohannet provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
  • Residential Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.

  • Residential Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedure while on site, and also through rotating on call coverage
  • Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
  • Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • Support staff and programming through your knowledge of the policies and procedures of Cohannet Academy's Residential Department.
