About The Position

Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to support adults with developmental disabilities in a small group home setting in Sutton, VT. In this role, you will help individuals build independence, provide daily care and support, and create a safe, positive living environment, contributing to the strengthening of health and well-being of individuals and families across Vermont’s beautiful Northeast Kingdom.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with individuals with varying needs and behaviors
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities and personal care
• Assist individuals in building skills and independence
• Support individuals with a range of needs, including behavioral challenges
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
