About The Position

This role offers a consistent early‑day schedule — Thursday–Friday (6AM–11AM), Saturday–Sunday (6AM–2PM), Monday (6AM–10AM) — giving you the perfect balance of meaningful work and personal time. As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. Location: Santee Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65 Schedule: Thursday - Friday, 6AM-11AM; Saturday-Sunday, 6AM-2PM; Monday 6AM-10AM Who you are: Compassionate individual who genuinely enjoys helping others. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- A passion for making a difference!
Nice To Haves
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish
- Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting
- Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization.
- Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
- Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
