About The Position

Position Overview: As a Single-Family Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential electrical services in Suwanee, Georgia. You will be responsible for leading a team of electricians, coordinating projects, and ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background as a single-family residential electrician with at least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Licensing: Must hold a valid Georgia electrical license and certification.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety standards and regulations; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Safety & Quality: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and high-quality workmanship.
• Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pre-Employment Requirements: Must pass a drug screening and meet all company safety and background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and providing feedback to team members as needed.
• Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and assistance to electricians, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring the proper installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for projects and maintaining accurate records of usage and expenses.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in residential electrical services.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in residential electrical operations, implementing best practices and initiatives to optimize performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
