PALCO Power Systems, A Western PA distributor of Kohler Power Systems, is seeking a Residential Service Technician for Residential Generators. Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, but must be willing to work as business needs dictate.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age, for insurance purposes
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass the federal/state background checks
  • Have a strong mechanical background
  • Ownership of tools required to perform repairs and oil changes, after ninety (90) days
  • Great customer service skills
  • Reliable self-starter
  • Team player
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must submit a background check and drug testing

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC: 1 year of experience
  • EPA Type II certification
  • Electrical knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and parts in various environments and working conditions
  • Safely assemble and disassemble equipment and parts according to the manufacturer's specifications
  • Conduct oil changes
  • Accurately complete service reports and provide details of completed work orders
