PALCO Power Systems, A Western PA distributor of Kohler Power Systems, is seeking a Residential Service Technician for Residential Generators. Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, but must be willing to work as business needs dictate.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age, for insurance purposes
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass the federal/state background checks
- Have a strong mechanical background
- Ownership of tools required to perform repairs and oil changes, after ninety (90) days
- Great customer service skills
- Reliable self-starter
- Team player
- Basic computer skills
- Must submit a background check and drug testing
Nice To Haves
- HVAC: 1 year of experience
- EPA Type II certification
- Electrical knowledge
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and parts in various environments and working conditions
- Safely assemble and disassemble equipment and parts according to the manufacturer's specifications
- Conduct oil changes
- Accurately complete service reports and provide details of completed work orders
