Residential Security Officer
About The Position
As a Dedicated Security Officer , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of residential buildings, client assets, and personnel. Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs throughout each shift Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms Ensure all building access points are secure
Requirements
- Prior experience working overnight security shifts is a plus
- Ability to walk for extended periods and climb stairs regularly
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Comfortable addressing individuals and setting boundaries professionally
- Experience in residential security is a plus, but not required
- Candidates local to the area are strongly encouraged to apply
