About The Position

WOW! is hiring a Residential Sales Specialist! Part-time Opportunity in Columbus! Summary The Residential Sales Specialist is responsible for growing our residential customer base by selling our internet services to single-family units. Let us tell you about the perks! The preferred schedule will be 3:00pm-7:00pm (peak hours for contact), we’re flexible on what days you choose to work! Requirements

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• One year of sales experience is preferred, preferably in the communications or technology industry or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft products and utilizing other web-based applications.
• Ability to learn new software systems and access online support/tools.
• Must be highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently
• Ability to meet external demands, pressures, strict deadlines, and sales objectives
• Experience building relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
• Ability to articulate and communicate to internal and external customers.
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong verbal, written interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to work beyond normal business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner
• Ability to work with, and in, a team environment
• Ability to work beyond normal business hours including evenings up to 9 pm, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Must be able to work in inclement weather
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the standards of our insurance company
• Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork
• Required to walk on uneven ground, carry sales materials necessary to perform in home sales, and occasionally lift boxes of sales and marketing materials, display objects, etc.

Responsibilities

• Walks door to door pitching products and services directly to potential customers
• Works in assigned neighborhoods and routes, tracking leads and following up
• Logs daily activities and customer interactions
• Meets sales goals and quota
• Complies with local solicitation laws and company policies
• Attends team meeting and training sessions as needed
• Learns new sales techniques and products
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
