About The Position

As a Residential Sales Representative , your primary role is to engage homeowners face-to-face and introduce them to our power washing services. You’ll be walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, creating genuine connections, and helping potential clients see the value in a professional power washing solution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in direct sales, enjoys meeting new people, and wants to be rewarded well for their hustle and determination.

Requirements

  • Strong Communication: You’re outgoing, personable, and capable of striking up conversations with homeowners at their door.
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience with door-to-door or face-to-face sales is a plus but not required; we provide hands-on training.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Comfortably handle rejection and stay motivated to knock on the next door.
  • Customer-Focused: You have a friendly, solutions-based mindset and genuinely want to help people improve their homes.
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, set personal goals, and manage time effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using a phone, CRM software, and scheduling tools (training provided).
  • Physical Stamina: Willingness to walk neighborhoods and be outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Engage Neighbors
  • Canvass assigned residential areas, knocking on doors to introduce Rolling Suds’ services.
  • Approach potential customers in a friendly, confident manner, building trust quickly.
  • Generate additional leads organically by asking for referrals from satisfied neighbors.
  • Build Rapport & Assess Needs
  • Use active listening to identify each homeowner’s specific concerns regarding exterior cleaning.
  • Educate homeowners on common issues like mold, mildew, and dirt buildup that affect curb appeal.
  • Clearly explain why professional power washing is the best solution to keep their home looking great.
  • Present & Upsell Services
  • Confidently walk homeowners through our various offerings (house wash, driveways, patios, fences, etc.).
  • Highlight the benefits of Rolling Suds’ professional process and equipment.
  • Create accurate quotes on the spot using pricing guides and recommend relevant add-on services.
  • Close the Sale & Schedule Services
  • Ask for the sale with conviction and handle objections professionally.
  • Book appointments and clearly communicate next steps.
  • Provide accurate expectations about the service day experience.
  • Follow Through & Customer Satisfaction
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders (email, phone, or text).
  • Check in after services are completed to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Collect reviews and feedback to help strengthen our reputation in the community.
