Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Residential Programs Manager to join our team of professionals. WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR? Supervise and coordinate the overall operation of the Addiction Residential and Transitional Residential Program. Assist with the coordination of necessary staff coverage and appropriate staff training. This includes provision of shift coverage as necessary and appropriate. Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, supervision and performance assessment. Assure staff adherence to Southwestern policies and procedures including chart maintenance, health and safety requirements, food preparation procedures, and handling, and client medications. Plan and supervise completion of program activities and responsibilities by assigning (or delegating) duties to staff, as appropriate. Maintain adequate inventory of food and household supplies for Transitional Residential Program. Serve as an active contributing member of the Addiction Services leadership team. Maintain data for on-going program evaluation and improvement. Commit to annual professional and skills development opportunities. Advocate on behalf of individuals with primary substance use disorders Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to psychiatric crisis situations. Commit to the values of the Southwestern Leadership team. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high quality medical care for clients. Develop and sustain relationships with other providers in the community to provide for on-going client needs. Participate in weekly on call rotation for programs.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with those with primary substance use disorders.
  • Must hold or obtain valid driver’s license.
