About The Position

Get to know Thompson! Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida Tennessee and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Our values are Excellence, Innovation, Commitment, Caring and Integrity.. What will you do as a Residential Program Supervisor? As a Program Supervisor in the Residential department, you will be responsible for a range of day-to-day oversight of assigned programs, staff, and other responsibilities. Success in this role is measured through three core data points: financial performance data, staff retention/engagement data, and program outcomes/quality data. Program supervisors are expected to model principles of the Leadership Pipeline as a Leader of Others. A typical day as a Program Supervisor includes hands-on operational oversight and accountability for the performance of assigned program(s). Schedules vary to meet program needs, and supervisors are expected to rotate shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. throughout the week. Program Supervisors also participate in a rotating on-call weekend schedule. This is an in-person position. What does this position offer?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Verified 2 years of work experience as a high-performing individual contributor in a related field.
  • Exposure to leadership/management experiences either through short-term project management, coordination, training or actual leadership positions.
  • Displays the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the program (s) you lead.
  • All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
