About The Position

Join TERI as a Residential Program Manager and help create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of a 6-bed ICF/DD-H group home, providing both hands-on care and leadership to your team. This is a direct care position that combines meaningful client interaction with key administrative responsibilities. You’ll play a vital part in staff training and support, while ensuring all aspects of care—including Active Treatment, Behavior Modification, BEST practices, CPR, and First Aid—are delivered in alignment with each individual’s program and education plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts.
  • One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in with special needs and experience working with adults in vocational or volunteer settings preferred.
  • Must have a two-years clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with self-care and activities of daily living.
  • Provide appropriate level of support such as making meals, shopping, assist individual with laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized home.
  • Participate in staff meetings, progress reviews, in-service training, and other meetings.
  • Assist with interventions designed to protect individuals who engage in severe problem behavior and those around them.
  • Administer and document client’s medications and provide necessary medical/first aid treatment as indicated by nursing staff.
  • Immediately report any concerns related to individual’s personal safety, facility safety and effectiveness, program material needs, and personal care/daily living needs.
  • Protect individual rights, safety, welfare, and health at all times for those we serve.
