Villanova Initiative for Engaging Women ( VIEW ), a 10-month college-prep program that consist of a summer residential component, is seeking Residential Counselors for the summer program. The Residential Program Assistant will serve as the second point of contact for all staff and students. Applicants will reside on campus for the duration of the program.

Requirements

Rising college junior, recent graduate or graduate student
Organization skills required.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Experience working with high school students.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a camp (day or overnight) or summer program setting.
Skills or trained in programming and administrative experience.
Previous experience as a Residential Advisor on college campus.
Created/developed programs for college or was a member of an executive board of an organization.

Responsibilities

The Program Assistant will report directly to the Program Director and assist the Program Director with the flow of the program; to include scheduling, organizing events and facilitating workshops.
The Program Assistant will assist as needed to support students in English and/or math, travel with students to and from class, meals, residence halls and chaperone trips.
