About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal to support a sophisticated, high-end real estate practice focused on representing high-net-worth individuals in the purchase of luxury homes PRIMARILY on Palm Beach Island and throughout the West Palm Beach area. This role requires more than technical competence, that demands a concierge-level approach, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions from contract through closing with discretion and professionalism. You will manage all aspects of high-value residential real estate transactions from contract execution through closing, ensuring a seamless process for clients. This includes coordinating and communicating with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, title companies, surveyors, inspectors, and other professionals involved in the transaction. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and overseeing contracts, addenda, closing documents, title commitments, surveys, estoppels, and other related documents while monitoring deadlines and contingencies to maintain smooth progress. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering and reviewing title searches, surveys, HOA and condominium documents, and other due diligence materials. You will prepare comprehensive closing packages and coordinate funding and recording, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and delivering a white-glove, concierge-level experience. Throughout the process, you will maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and personal information of high-net-worth clients, anticipate their needs, and proactively resolve issues before they arise. With more than 1,000 attorneys, policy advisor's, e-discovery professionals, and other business professionals across offices in California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, Nelson Mullins has strong roots in the business community and an appreciation for new directions in the business world.

Requirements

  • Over five years of experience as a residential real estate paralegal, with a strong background in managing luxury and high-value transactions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Florida residential real estate law, contracts, and closing procedures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with high-net-worth individuals and discerning clientele.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and polished demeanor.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding client service while managing multiple complex transactions under strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in real estate and document management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work with Palm Beach Island or West Palm Beach luxury real estate.
  • Strong understanding of Florida residential real estate law, contracts, and closing procedures.
  • Familiarity with condominium and HOA transactions requiring extensive due diligence.
  • Experience in a boutique or high-end law firm environment where attention to detail and client service are paramount.
