Make a difference as a Residential Manager- Make a difference at The Arc Elmira As a Full Time Residential Manager at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler in Elmira, you will play a crucial role in utilizing team-based concepts to coordinate, supervise, and provide exceptional residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the residence is adequately staffed and arranging substitute coverage when necessary. Requirements

  • adept problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks and delegate, when necessary
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required
  • bachelor's degree in human services or a related field with two years of supervisory experience, an associate degree with three years of supervisory experience, or a High School Diploma with five years of human service experience and three years of supervisory experience
  • valid/clean driver's license is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an ID/DD setting is preferred
