Our comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental and vision Short- and long-term disability PayOUT daily pay option Life insurance Tuition reimbursement and discounts Paid time off 401(k) retirement savings plan Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee discounts Job Duties Clinical Respond to emergency situations and complete required documentation Provide backup as Shift Leader and/or Rehab Tech duties as needed Address patient issues ( Assessments, direct patient care, special tracking log) Ensure communication of specific concerns regarding patient safety or health Monitor and assist with dispensing of medications , as needed Provide patient/care-giver education for medical conditions and medications Communicate with On Call or/or physicians/office nurse , as needed Model, teach and mentor the Rehabilitation Technicians on the Pate Core Values and Customer Service Quality Standards Review and update as needed MAR's, PRN lists, and/or procedure records Monitor patients vital signs, weights, hydration, output, food, intake, labs, blood sugar, responsiveness, skin integrity, etc, to ensure medical stability

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, educate, and develop Shift Leaders and Residential staff
  • Ensure timely and thorough documentation of care provided within the facility
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including patient/caregiver education and communication with patient care team
  • Ensure adequate supplies are available for all facility staff
  • Maintain a working knowledge of standards and regulations for THHSC, CARF, CRS, and CDC
  • Other duties as assigned by location
