About The Position

The Residential Manager is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of quality services and support to People We Serve (PWS) served in residential settings. The Residential Manager ensures quality service delivery and outcomes in compliance with State and Federal Rules and Regulations, as well as AbleLight Skills and Support policies and procedures. The Residential Manager monitors the residential services for a caseload of comprehensive intellectually disabled adults.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and evaluate individual needs and make professional decisions within established policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities system.
• Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing and basic math skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and well as electronic medical record systems.
• Associates Degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience
• One years’ experience working with people who are developmentally disabled.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Must have own vehicle with insurance and ability to work in office as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety of the People we Serve
• Coordinates and ensures all residential responsibilities listed in Individualized Plans (IPs) are completed
• Communicates written or verbal information to clients, professionals or significant others involved in our clients' lives and provides documentation of this communication
