About The Position

Effectively and efficiently manage the operations of the homes assigned. In collaboration with the Program Managers and the Interdisciplinary TEAM (IDT) this includes providing for the health, welfare, and safety of the individuals residing in the home. House Managers are responsible to ensure staff are well trained and competent to care for and support the individuals in the home, ensure timely completion of documentation, complete regular audits of the home/vehicle and ensure the safety of the environment, oversee that client's health care needs are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful employment working with persons with disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License and auto liability insurance.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software packages.
  • Knowledge of agency positions and responsibilities, and who to go to with specific questions and/or concerns.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Adequate physical, mental, and emotional stability to meet job responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner.
  • General understanding of the DD Waiver / Mi Via Waiver.
  • Job-related certification(s)/trainings, as and when deemed necessary by Great Livin' LLC and/or the state of New Mexico.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software packages
  • Must have or gain a working knowledge of Therap, iSolved and other agency systems as applicable.
  • Knowledge of agency positions and responsibilities, and who to go to with specific questions and/or concerns.
  • Must be of good integrity and possess adequate physical, mental and emotional stability to meet job responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have or gain a general understanding of the DD Waiver / Mi Via Waiver
  • Communicate in a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, individuals, and stakeholders.
  • Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision.
  • Able to handle and resolve recurring problems.

  • Collaborate with the Program Managers and the Interdisciplinary TEAM (IDT) to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the individuals residing in the home.
  • Ensure staff are well trained and competent to care for and support individuals living in the home.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation by staff and management.
  • Complete regular audits of the home/vehicle/equipment/supplies and ensure the safety of the environment.
  • Oversee that clients' health care needs are met.
  • Communicate in a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, individuals, and stakeholders.
  • Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision.
