The hotel features 248 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. This impressive architectural gem is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro, perfectly positioned between Dulles International and Reagan National airports, providing travelers with exceptional access to the capital region and beyond. Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Engineering at a full-service hotel or residential is required.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • EPA Certified Requirement
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in systems and equipment.
  • Skilled in multiple areas such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.
  • Computer Experience: proficient Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, and ability to learn a variety of other software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily engineering operations within the residences, ensuring all systems function efficiently and safely
  • Respond to and resolve residential service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform routine inspections of guest residences, public areas, and mechanical spaces
  • Support and execute preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and building system.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
