About The Position

Tyler Air is currently in search of a Licensed Residential HVAC Technician to join their Stratford, CT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
OSHA 10-hour Certificate preferred
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Journeyman License
5+ of experience
Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10-hour Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Perform installation and service to residential HVAC, including Water heaters, PV Water Heaters, Humidifiers, Dryer Vents, and Dehumidifiers.
Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
Develop basic knowledge of residential and mechanical piping and ductwork.
Ensure the HVAC equipment that was installed is clean, safe, and up to high standards before departure.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job.
