About The Position

Pest-End is hiring a Residential Exterior Technician specializing in tick and mosquito control. This is an entry-level, year-round position, offering a career path rather than seasonal work. The role involves working outdoors to perform exterior pest control treatments at residential properties, identifying and treating pest habitats while adhering to safety regulations, educating customers on pest prevention, and maintaining equipment and service records. The company provides paid training and state certification for new hires, emphasizing growth potential, learning a valuable trade, and protecting families and homes from pests.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (must be licensed for a minimum of one year).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including a backpack sprayer.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator’s license (paid training and certification provided for non-licensed new hires).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physical labor, including extensive walking, lifting to 50 pounds, and carrying a backpack sprayer, for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders when necessary for inspections or applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company procedures and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Evolve, Paylocity, and other mobile technology used for reporting and scheduling.
• Strong team player with a commitment to promoting company values.
• Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities
