About The Position

IES Residential is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Leadman to join our growing team in El Paso, TX. This is a working foreman position responsible for leading a crew of electricians and apprentices while actively performing electrical installations in new single-family residential construction.
The Leadman ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with IES Residential standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience
• At least 1 year in a leadership or crew lead role
• Current Texas Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license (Required)
• Strong knowledge of NEC, blueprint reading, material takeoffs, and residential wiring practices
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (Required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily electrical tasks including layout, rough-in, and trim-out phases
• Supervise and support electricians and apprentices on job sites
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and blueprints
• Enforce IES Residential safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, builders, and team members
• Maintain accurate timekeeping, work orders, and material usage documentation
• Ensure installations meet IES quality standards and inspection requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
