The Intern for Residential Education at Wagner College will work with professional and graduate staff members in Residential Education. The primary responsibility of this position will be in enhancing the facilities management and turnover process of the department. In addition, they will work with other Wagner departments and offices to gain an overall understanding of residential life functions at a small, private Liberal Arts institution in New York City. The intern will have strong involvement with housing and residential life operations, specifically in housing operations. The intern will supervise a staff of 6-8 student staff members (Summer Resident Assistants) with the Assistant Director. The intern will work in the office 29 hours per week for the duration of their employment, and they will serve as part of an on-call rotation. The intern will also have the opportunity to pursue professional development in any area of Residence Life that interests them. The dates of the position are negotiable, but they may begin on May 27 and end on August 1 (dates are negotiable).
