The ACCS Interim Residential Director is a dynamic role combining administrative and leadership duties to ensure the smooth operation of community-based residential sites for adults with mental illness and substance use issues. This position requires strong knowledge of clinical programming and involves managing staff, ensuring quality service delivery, maintaining the physical environment, budgeting, and complying with DMH licensing regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, offer consultation on effective rehabilitative strategies, and foster strong relationships internally and externally. Adherence to all policies and procedures is essential, including established guidelines for cell phone usage. The Interim Residential Director will temporarily cover one or more Aspire Residential sites, stepping in for Residential Directors during their leave.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing, driving experience, and a solid driving record are required. Access to a personal vehicle is essential.
  • CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in human services, with knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations.
  • A flexible team player who can lead and motivate staff; eager to grow and learn in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use an electronic health record system for clinical documentation are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations are highly desirable.
