About The Position

Residential Coordinator (IDD Services | Human Services Leadership Role) Join Our Team & Make a Difference We are hiring a Residential Coordinator to lead and support residential teams serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) . This is a hands-on leadership role focused on empowering individuals to live meaningful, independent lives while ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. If you're an experienced supervisor in human services who values teamwork, accountability, and impact-this could be the right fit for you. Pay & Schedule Full-Time (40 hours/week) Flexibility required, including on-call responsibilities Salary: $64,480 – $68,640 per year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or human services
  • 3 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional
  • Knowledge of IDD services and Rhode Island regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (experience with EMAR, Sandata, or similar systems is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support residential staff
  • Create a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Train and mentor new employees
  • Contribute to performance evaluations and staff development
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the residential program
  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and staff training
  • Lead team meetings and ensure clear communication across staff
  • Ensure staff understand and meet the needs of individuals served
  • Monitor documentation (incident reports, care plans, timesheets)
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and RI state regulations
  • Support household budgeting and maintain quality standards
  • Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and team members
