About The Position

David Weekley Homes is looking for enthusiastic people with residential homebuilding experience to join our team of builders in the Bradenton, FL area. Responsibilities include: Plan, schedule, and coordinate the construction of quality homes from development through final completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Direct daily construction activities and monitor overall progress. Manage subcontractors, materials, contracts, budgets, and schedules to maintain efficiency, quality, and compliance. Oversee job site safety, cleanliness, productivity, and adherence to building codes, plans, and regulations. Track and control construction costs, negotiate pricing, and prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reports. Complete homes and customer walk-throughs prior to closing and conduct Home Buyer Meetings to ensure satisfaction. Build strong working relationships with management, designers, sales teams, trades, vendors, and customers to ensure a positive build experience. Effectively supervise and motivate diverse teams and building partners to perform at a high level. Manage time efficiently by multitasking and prioritizing to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate computer proficiency for job costing, payroll, and communication with vendors and trades. Remain decisive, flexible, and calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Apply solid knowledge of construction practices, terminology, and blueprints with attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
