Hanson Design Build Remodel is seeking an experienced Carpenter III to join our production team. This is a senior-level, high-skill craft role for someone who can execute nearly any aspect of residential construction independently and takes pride in doing things the right way. This role is ideal for a carpenter who wants to master the craft , contribute at a high level, and remain focused on hands-on work-not job management. Learn more about us: www.hansonremodeling.com Position Overview As a Carpenter III , you are a technical expert on the job site. You can independently execute complex carpentry work-including demo, framing, structural modifications, detailed trim, and custom assemblies-while maintaining quality, safety, and jobsite standards. You will work closely with Lead Carpenters and Project Managers, contributing deep technical skill while remaining focused on execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of residential carpentry experience
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Proficiency in math and geometry
  • Advanced skills across all aspects of carpentry (framing, trim, cabinetry, finishing)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal carpentry tools
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting on a daily basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong eye-hand coordination and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced carpentry tasks-including framing, trim, cabinetry, and finishing-with minimal supervision and a high level of precision.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings, building accurately to specifications and design intent.
  • Identify and resolve construction challenges efficiently while maintaining quality and schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors and model best practices in craftsmanship, jobsite conduct, and teamwork.
