Under general direction of the RCS 2, responsible for the supervision of intermittent therapeutic program workers and scheduling and assigning all direct care staff on all cottages completing all necessary paperwork including overtime rosters, annual vacation schedules, intermittent lists & procedures for same.U Under general direction of the Residential Care Supervisor, 2, responsible for the supervision of intermittent Therapeutic Program Workers and scheduling and assigning all direct care staff on all cottages, completing all necessary paperwork, including overtime rosters, annual vacation schedules, intermittent lists & procedures for same. Acts as backup RCS for all cottages and provides assistance & staff training on implementation of new policies & procedures when needed (e.g. sick leave, personal leave, vacation, comp time & bereavement leave). Assures appropriate TPW's are in attendance at meetings, assigns staff daily, monitors call offs & assures staffing minimums are met to comply with federal & state standards. Completes paperwork daily for timekeeping, assists payroll officer in resolving payroll issues & prepares and submits backup documentation & reports for payroll (e.g. absenteeism, tardiness, verified time reports). Coordinates vehicles & assures staffing for all off-grounds appointments & trips. Is familiar with & adheres to appropriate collective bargaining agreement specifications. Participates on inter/selection committees for hiring of new TPW employees. Works within labor contract rules and resolves labor disputes/matters at first step level; Informs and refers employees to EAP Coordinator; Trains and supervises staff, completes and signs employee performance evaluations; May discipline staff. Reviews, logs, investigates written documentation regarding customer behavior responses (e.g., 30 day and annual reviews; customer funds; as they relate to IHP; May prepare report of the assessment of customer activities participate in IHP Program Meetings; Review Program records to assure proper procedures have been followed and documented. Attends management meetings, conferences and in-services as required; Completes census reports; may investigate and report all unusual incidents (e.g., administrative and client); Reviews and verifies staff accident reports; checks log books to ensure completeness; Maintains and acquires necessary supplies and equipment (e.g., cleaning supplies, program/activity supplies). May relieve supervisors of other units upon request (e.g., cottages). May participate on special committees geared towards quality service improvement.
