The Autism Society of North Carolina is hiring a full-time Residential Autism Services Coordinator (Qualified Professional) to oversee the implementation of the treatment plans of individuals receiving residential services to enable them to achieve maximum independence and self-direction in their home and engagement and success in the community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master's in human services (Social Work, Psychology, etc.)
  • 2+ years' experience providing services for individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual /Developmental Disabilities
  • Based in or near the Triangle area and willing to travel locally, must be able to work in-person in Raleigh
  • Strong communication, organization, computer, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and team building skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and communicate with care teams, service providers, families/ guardians, and staff.
  • Coordinate treatment plan meetings, assessments, and engage in the development of goals and strategies based upon experience delivering services to individuals.
  • Provide direct instruction, supervision, support and/or assistance to individuals receiving residential services to achieve goal targets.
  • Supervise and manage residential staff including onboarding, cross training, annual and supplemental training, and training on resident’s goals and services plans.
  • Oversee all operations of the 24/7 group home such as tracking of health care services and records, medication administration records, maintenance of relevant physical/electronic files, staffing schedules and ratios, maintenance of physical residence and adherence to all regulatory requirements to maintain licensure.
  • Provide back-up support for staff, which may include overnights and weekends.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain adherence to budget for the residential home.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
