About The Position

The Install Helper will assist in the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components. This is a non-exempt position. Work hours are to be determined based on the needs of the business, and overtime may be required. Regular travel is expected between Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning and job sites, primarily during normal business hours, within King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson and Island counties.

  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation of HVAC equipment into residential customer homes per manufacturer specifications, company policy, local and state required codes as directed by Lead Installer.
  • Assist in equipment troubleshooting, installation, start-up, operation and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction as directed by Lead Installer.
  • Assist in installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings to AMI Quality Standards, required code and job specifications as directed by Lead Installer.
  • Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational.
  • Verify all materials and equipment required for each scheduled job and load into company vehicle.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety trainings and regulations as defined by company policy and procedure.
  • Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and operated in accordance to company driving policy.
  • Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
