Cochegan House is a residential work release program providing case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult males who are under the supervision of DOC so they can successfully reenter their communities and avoid committing new offenses. The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care, including activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served and participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide collaborates with Community Justice program staff to help rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
