Residential Aide - Connection House (Middletown)
About The Position
Connection House is a residential work release program that provides supervision and case management services to adult men who are re-entering the community after a period of incarceration. The Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved Men/Women as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a customer service background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- Experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a customer service background
- Ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries
