Resident Transportation & Mobility Specialist
About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and collaborative Transportation Coordinator to join our team. Employment Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the clinical schedule A Day in the Life As the Transportation Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our care team. Your work ensures that our residents—children and young adults with complex medical needs—have safe transportation, access to essential medical supplies, and reliable support with mobility and equipment. This is a hands-on, collaborative position ideal for someone who is compassionate, organized, and motivated to support vulnerable populations. How This Position Contributes to our Mission Ensure safe, timely transportation for residents to medical appointments, school, and activities Partner with nursing and clinical staff to support transfers and mobility needs Monitor inventory and help maintain adequate stock of medical and personal care supplies Assist with cleaning, maintaining, and preparing medical equipment for use
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification required or willing to obtain
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift 35–65 lbs unassisted
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of standing and physical activity
Responsibilities
