Resident Services Coordinator
About The Position
Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering low-income individuals and families to become self-reliant through integrated services in housing, employment, and education. When joining PPL, you become a part of a diverse team whose goal is to assist our residents and communities with the groundwork they need not only to survive but also to thrive. The Resident Services Coordinator provides person-centered support to individuals and families residing in PPL’s affordable or scattered-site housing. This role helps individuals in our community maintain housing stability by carrying an average case load of 20-25 scattered site participants. The goal is to foster long-term housing stability by building trust, delivering tailored services, and strengthening community connections.
Requirements
- Ability to use: Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to use: Electronic timecard system
- Ability to use: SharePoint file system
- Ability to use: Database systems, particularly Apricot
- Experience with case management or developing supportive housing service plans
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and support
- Ability to recognize and address mental health challenges, chemical dependency and other problematic behaviors
- Valid drivers' license and insurance, successfully complete a motor vehicle records screen, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport participants
- 1-3 years of experience with the target population served preferred.
- A course of study in a health or human services-related field leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Associate degree.

Responsibilities
- Engage with participants to assess their strengths/barriers and create customized participant-driven housing stability plans
- Support participant health and wellness through connections to physical, mental health, and recovery resources
- Assist with the housing recertification process
- Collaborate with Housing Coordinator in transferring tenancy sustaining services both in home and in the community
- Utilize skills and community resources to provide crisis prevention and intervention
- Support strategies to promote neighborhood, apartment building, and personal safety
- Provide and/or facilitate translation and interpreting services
