Office - Resident Service Coordinator
About The Position
Are you passionate about customer service and creating positive living environments? We're looking for a dedicated Resident Service Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in managing resident services, assisting with property operations, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. You’ll engage directly with residents and help ensure their needs are met, all while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Resident Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing resident interactions, supporting property management tasks, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of residents. You will help plan events, conduct property inspections, manage resident files, and assist with communication between residents and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 3-5 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sales and/or customer service training
- Proficiency in software applications, smartphones, and reporting/analysis tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to foster positive relationships with residents and colleagues, creating an open and supportive environment
- Skilled in understanding and addressing resident concerns with care and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize resident events to foster community engagement
- Respond to resident feedback within 24 hours via the Resident Feedback system on mprop.net
- Record and track all resident correspondence in Yardi
- Complete weekly property inspections with a focus on resident balconies/patios and amenities
- Inspect apartments as needed to maintain property standards
- Maintain accurate resident files, including renewals, resident retention programs, and lease changes
- Assist with in-house transfers, adding/removing roommates, and lease renewals Prepare renewal letters for delivery to residents
- Assist Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with paperwork flow and verifications
- Assist the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with property-related tasks
- Provide input on setting the agenda for weekly and monthly staff meetings
- Ensure adherence to federal and state Fair Housing Laws and company policies
