About The Position

The Lodge at Natchez Trace is looking for a creative, energetic, and compassionate Resident Programming Assistant to help bring joy, engagement, and meaningful experiences to our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. This full-time role is perfect for someone who loves working with seniors, enjoys planning fun activities, and thrives in a warm, supportive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1–2 years of experience in activities, recreation, or senior living preferred
• Friendly, patient, creative, and enthusiastic personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents safely
• SERVSAFE certified or willing to obtain

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience in activities, recreation, or senior living preferred
• SERVSAFE certified

Responsibilities

• Help plan, lead, and support daily activities, events, crafts, games, and social programs
• Encourage resident participation to promote socialization and reduce isolation
• Assist with outings, drive the community vehicle, and transport residents safely
• Set up and clean up activity spaces; maintain adequate supplies
• Support new resident move-ins with welcome items and friendly introductions
• Provide administrative support to the Life Enrichment Director
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
• Assist care staff in escorting residents to programs or events as needed
