The Resident Manager position is a part-time, live-on-site role that is responsible for the overall condition and environment of the building in which they reside. As a Resident Manager, you must be self-motivated, organized, value communication, and have the ability to learn quickly. Compensation for this position is by providing highly reduced or free housing in the building you're assigned to as a Resident Manager- occupancy rules apply.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a resident manager, or property ownership with hands on maintenance, or experience working for a property management company strongly preferred
  • Possess a strong sense of ownership, extremely detail oriented and results driven
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of the property and its grounds (~6 days a week)
  • Perform light maintenance and cleaning
  • Ensure the property operates in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Act as a liaison between the Property Manager and the residents
  • Receive maintenance requests from residents, verify work, and coordinate vendors
