Resident Director Summer 2026
About The Position
The opportunity is for May 14 – June 26, 2026. Trio Programs is accepting applications for a Resident Director for Summer 2026. The Resident Director will: Live in the ETSU residence hall with 200 Upward Bound high school students during the summer residential program. Display leadership skills while developing and maintaining a positive community in resident halls. Oversee day-to-day operations in residence halls. Be a positive role model and encourage college access and success. Attend and chaperone all cultural/educational activities. Organize and supervise recreation activities. Perform other duties assigned by the project staff.
Requirements
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours of college work and maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA through the fall semester of 2025.
- Must have been enrolled in college in the Spring 2026 and completed two calendar years of college as of June 2026 or a recent college graduate.
- Successful candidates must complete a background check and be fingerprinted prior to employment.
- Student misconduct check required. (Student misconduct checks will be performed automatically for ETSU students. Students who attend other colleges must fill out a misconduct check form.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a tutor, camp counselor, or similar position.
- Experience in residence hall living.
