About The Position
The Town of New Canaan is seeking applicants for the position of Resident Custodian for the Recreation Department. This position is responsible for the routine cleaning and maintenance of the Waveny House and other buildings in the Park, outdoor areas, walkways, grounds, and paddle courts. Responsibilities also include providing setup, and cleanup of events held at Waveny which may require working evenings and on weekends.
Requirements
- high school diploma
- two years experience with building and grounds maintenance
- valid driver’s license
- background investigation and pre-employment physical are required
