Requirements
- Age 16+
- A caring, patient, and cheerful demeanor
- Dependability and a heart for serving older adults
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Willingness to follow policies, procedures, and uphold Fairmount’s mission and values
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care (such as eating, grooming, and mobility)
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks, tracking consumption
- Helping with light housekeeping and keeping resident spaces tidy
- Offering companionship through conversation and small group activities
- Supporting resident safety by monitoring fall risks and responding quickly
- Transporting residents to activities, chapel, or in-house appointments
- Ensuring residents feel cared for, valued, and respected
