About The Position

Western Home Communities is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant / Medication Manager to join our award-winning team in our assisted living facility. This is a weekend pack position, working 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. When you join Western Home, you're not just taking a job — you're becoming part of a team that truly cares. As a Resident Assistant / Medication Manager, you’ll provide daily support and care to residents in alignment with their individual care plans. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to obtain Medication Manager certification
  • Willingness to obtain Medication Manager certification (we’ll help you enroll!)
  • Positive attitude and strong commitment to serving others
  • Ability to interact with residents, families, and coworkers professionally
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Nice To Haves

  • CNA license is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience in direct care is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities: bathing, dressing, mobility, hygiene, etc.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to resident calls
  • Support household tasks such as meals, cleaning, and laundry
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care
  • Accurately chart interactions and changes in resident conditions
  • (With certification) Prepare and administer medications and treatments per protocol
  • Ensure resident rights, dignity, and privacy are always respected
