Requirements

  • A compassionate and dependable caregiver who finds purpose in serving others
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating clearly
  • Willing to learn and follow care plans, safety policies, and training protocols
  • Able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed, using proper body mechanics
  • Must pass background checks and applicable state screenings
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Desire to work with older adults
  • Friendly, caring disposition
  • Any required resident care training

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior living, home health, or caregiving is a plus-but not required
  • Experience in the care giving to older adults preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and emotional support in accordance with each resident's individual care plan
  • Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and calls-day or night
  • Build relationships with residents and families based on trust and compassion
  • Escort residents to meals and activities, and encourage social engagement
  • Observe and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with resident care policies
  • Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry, and other daily comforts
  • Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety at all times
