Under the general direction of the Residency Program Director, the incumbent will support the residency program and Residents on all Graduate Medical Education (GME) matters. Manage and oversee training program compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards, LSUHSC-NO policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Under broad supervision from the Business Manager, the incumbent in this position will exercise a high level of judgment and initiative; perform all duties in a highly responsible and independent manner; provide administrative support for the department's research related administrative activities. Excellent communication, team-oriented attitude and a cultural sensitivity and attunement to the needs of the section are needed by the candidate.
