Our Residence Life Staff are responsible for managing communities through staff supervision (professional and paraprofessional), advising, training, and serving on a rotating on-call 24 hour, 365-day crisis response. Residence Life Coordinators adjudicate low to high level conduct cases and respond to a variety of crisis situations. RLCs will have opportunities to increase professional skills through leading academic initiatives and student learning opportunities, high conduct caseloads, supervision, and campus involvement. Each RLC has the same core areas of their role, but will also get the opportunity to work with specialized residential communities within the halls based on specific building placement, such as work with Living Learning Communities, first-year students in high-rise towers, desk supervision and large-scale programming, upper-year students, and more based on your professional interests! This position is a fixed-renewable non-teaching academic staff appointment with a competitive salary and benefits package. Starting salary for this appointment is at least $44,460 as well as a partially furnished apartment, and designated parking space. The final salary offer is dependent upon the finalist’s experience and qualifications. Professional development fund support is also provided based on departmental budget availability in a given fiscal year. Amounts may vary by year.
